South Island InteriorMeridian performs engine, complete-stage, cryogenic-fluid, structural and abort-system qualification testing. Its remote interior location permits full-duration firing of heavy-lift propulsion systems.
The range also hosts the Swift experimental-flight annex and laboratories for hydrogen handling, high-temperature materials and reusable thermal-protection systems.
