Fan Jing served for more than three decades in human-spaceflight operations, including assignments in guidance, flight planning and integrated mission control. She was lead flight director for ALEP renewal architecture tests and chaired the first operational-readiness board for the Asteria-H and Vela systems.

As a Distinguished Service Fellow, she advises the History Office and active programs on mission-rule development, anomaly reconstruction and the preservation of operational knowledge across generations of flight teams.
