Jiang Wence is the government officer accountable for Ainare's civil space and aeronautics policy, the stewardship of agency resources and the safe performance of ANSA missions. He reports to the National Assembly through the Minister for Science and Civil Infrastructure.

Before appointment as Administrator, Jiang served as Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Science Programs and as ANSA Associate Administrator for Institutional Management. His earlier public-service work covered long-range capital planning, independent program review and national research infrastructure.
