Zhang Kaihao is the ALEP 15 mission specialist for flight engineering, robotics and crew medical operations. He will operate Resolve during the surface phase and supervise remote Rook-1 and Beacon activities.

Zhang previously developed autonomous medical-support systems for long-duration flight and served on the ALEP 14 mission-support crew.
