Zhao Gehang is ANSA's independent technical authority for system baselines, design certification, risk acceptance and flight waivers. The office maintains technical standards that apply across programs and centers.

Zhao previously led propulsion and stage-integration engineering for Asteria-H and served as chief engineer for the ALEP 13 uncrewed end-to-end flight test.
